Many minds. One brilliant noise

PARTNERS

A Brilliant Noise collaborates with musicians, ensembles, venues and cultural organisations that combine artistic excellence with curiosity and a drive to explore new ground.

We build long-term collaborations in which different musical traditions, backgrounds and perspectives can coexist and influence one another. We deliberately seek out collaborations with outstanding musicians and ensembles from the world of classical music.

ARTISTIC PARTNERS

Alma Quartet

For Confluence, the first production by A Brilliant Noise, Iranian slide guitarist Hamid Reza Behzadian collaborates with the Alma Quartet, whose members are musicians of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Music by Behzadian, traditional music, new compositions and works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold come together in Kay Sleking’s arrangements to create a new, shared sound.

The collaboration with the Alma Quartet reflects what A Brilliant Noise looks for in its artistic partners: musicians of the highest level who are curious about other musical worlds and willing to explore new territory together.

VENUES & PROGRAMMERS

With Confluence, our first production has been realised. The next step is to bring the work to different venues and contexts.

We are connecting with programmers, venues, festivals and cultural organisations interested in presenting Confluence and future A Brilliant Noise productions.

Alongside established concert venues, we are exploring smaller-scale and community settings, allowing the work to reach different audiences.

For programmers and press, more detailed information about Confluence is available, including background information, performance details, images and downloads.

NEW COLLABORATIONS

At the same time, we are developing the next A Brilliant Noise production. We are actively exploring new collaborations with an exceptional soloist and a classical ensemble of musicians at the highest level — preferably connected to a professional orchestra.

In this new production, the confluence of different musical backgrounds will once again be at the heart of the creative process, providing the starting point for new repertoire and a distinctive sound.

Are you a musician, ensemble, programmer or organisation and see potential for collaboration? We’d love to hear from you.

In this way, we continue to build a network of musicians, ensembles, venues and organisations around new music and new perspectives within classical music.
