Alma Quartet
The Alma Quartet is known for its artistic brilliance: four musicians who perform with great intensity and refinement, approaching each project as a process of exploration. Their playing is layered, urgent, and transparent, with a natural balance between technical precision and expressive depth. Whether performing the classical string quartet repertoire or new music, the Alma Quartet continuously seeks the meaning beyond the notes.

In a joint project, A Brilliant Noise and the Alma Quartet are developing a new musical encounter in which different traditions, perspectives, and narratives come together. From a shared interest in interdisciplinary practice, innovation, and social relevance, a collaboration emerges that creates space for experimentation, depth, and the telling of new stories through music.

Cello Octet Amsterdam

A Brilliant Noise and Cello Octet Amsterdam have expressed the intention to collaborate on a new musical project in the future. Further details regarding content, planning, and realisation will be announced at a later stage.

Venues & context

IJ-Salon – Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ

A Brilliant Noise will present a concert within the IJ-Salon series at Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ. This concert series offers space for exploratory programming and new musical perspectives within classical music. Within this context, A Brilliant Noise will present its work.

The concert in the IJ-Salon, scheduled for October, marks an important moment in the development of A Brilliant Noise. Prior to this, concerts and encounters will take place in other contexts, which are currently in development.

At the same time, A Brilliant Noise is exploring how its work can resonate across different contexts. Concerts and small-scale events will take place, among others, at A Beautiful Mess*, where music functions as a space for encounter and exchange. In the further development of the production house, connections are being explored with organisations such as Refugee Company*, with the aim of creating sustainable links between artistic practice, social context, and audiences.

*The organisations mentioned are included as potential partners aligned with the content and direction of the work. At this stage, no formal agreements have been established.
